نااہل کو حاصل ہے کبھی قوت و جبروت
ہے خوار زمانے میں کبھی جوہر ذاتی
جوہر ذاتی: مراد ہے باکمال لوگ۔
DESTINY
Often men who don’t deserve get might and main, anon a Person’s gifts un-graced remain.
شاید کوئی منطق ہو نہاں اس کے عمل میں
تقدیر نہیں تابع منطق نظر آتی
Perhaps some rules of logic are concealed; mishaps that lie in wait are not revealed.
ہاں، ایک حقیقت ہے کہ معلوم ہے سب کو
تاریخ امم جس کو نہیں ہم سے چھپاتی
تاریخ امم: قوموں کی تاریخ۔
There is a fact that all of us can know world annals much light on this matter throw.
ہر لحظہ ہے قوموں کے عمل پر نظر اس کی
براں صفت تیغ دو پیکر نظر اس کی
تیغ دو پیکر: دو دھاری تلوار۔
Fate keeps its eye on what the nations do, like two-edged sword can riddle through and through.
